The Salvation
Army is one of America's most trusted charities. They have done
significant good works in the past and continue to do great things
for people in need.
It is for this
reason that it is all the more tragic that the Salvation Army
practices discrimination against gay and lesbian people. But
now, there is something that you can do about it. You don't need
to be an activist. You don't need to do anything that will draw
attention to yourself!
A special "three
dollar bill" has been created which peacefully lets the
Salvation Army know that you think there should be no discrimination
in their organization.
People all over
America are printing out this special "three dollar bill"
and putting it into the popular Red Kettles that the Salvation
Army uses during Christmas time to collect money to help the
poor.
Print them out and put them into the Salvation Army's
red kettles as you would any donation.
This action will
help our voices get heard. We need your help! Discrimination
should never be a part of America's oldest and most trusted charities.
